Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, reiterated on Saturday the Islamic Republic's commitment to its obligations and insisted on its right to peacefully develop nuclear energy, including uranium enrichment.

Araghchi noted that Iran chose a responsible diplomatic path to resolve the fabricated nuclear crisis, but a follow up requires a serious willingness and a realistic vision from the other side.

In his opinion, past violations committed by other parties show that a balanced, fair, and lasting agreement needs credible guarantees.

The head of Iranian diplomacy emphasized that contradictions in the US rhetoric and policy, along with sanctions and threats, deepen mistrust and generate doubts about Washington’s intentions.

Incidentally, Araghchi said Iran held several talks with Germany, France, and the United Kingdom last year and remains open to constructive dialogue with Europe.
