Iran attacks Israel in response to aggression against Lebanon

Over a hundred Iranian missiles entered Israeli space today, where the local Iron Dome anti-aircraft batteries seek to intercept them, amid an unprecedented escalation following the recent attacks from Benjamin Netanyahu's government against Lebanon.    

For hours, Israeli media have been reporting the Iranian attack, allegedly directed against three air bases and an intelligence base, in retaliation for the offensive against Lebanon and the Hezbollah group, an ally of Tehran.

In recent days, the Israeli Army killed numerous leaders of the Shiite organization, including its secretary general, Hassan Nasrallah.

The extent of the damage and the number of missiles fired by Iran are not yet known.
