Injured at Guiteras Electric Power Plant Receive Medical Attention

With minor injuries and without danger to life, there are three workers after the accident that took place at the Antonio Guiteras Thermoelectric Power Plant, who receive medical attention in the general surgery room of Faustino Pérez provincial hospital, in this city.

Taymí Martínez Naranjo, director of the center, said that there are two workers taken from the rubble after the collapse of a partition in the area of the chimney, and a third who tried to help their colleagues.

Ángel Dioris Pérez Montoya, 30 years old, was the first to arrive at the hospital and has a contusion on his right elbow and simple head trauma; Maikel López Navarro suffered a pelvic fracture; and the third victim only had slight eye injuries, the doctor said.
