Diaz-Canel tours municipalities in eastern region of the country

Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC PCC) and president of the country, continued in the Santiago municipality of Songo-La Maya the tours he is making to economic and social objectives in the country's territories.
The people received him in the streets with warmth, reported on X the Presidency.

Diaz-Canel was accompanied, as usual in the tours, by the Secretary of Organization of the CC PCC, Roberto Morales Ojeda, who commented on the same social network about the visit to the Costa 23 de Agosto clothing workshop.

There they noted the commitment of its workers, who work with enthusiasm and create alternatives to overcome the obstacles that hinder the good economic performance of the factory, said the party leader.

They also exchanged with workers of the Songo-La Maya Tobacco Collection and Twisting Company, where 80 % of its workers are women.

During the day, the president also arrived in El Salvador municipality, in the easternmots province of Guantanamo, where he visited the El Colibri mini-industry, which belongs to the Jesus Menendez Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA), the Basic Business Unit (UEB) Coffee Processing Mill and the Mountain Development Center.

Diaz-Canel affirmed having seen a multitude of people in the streets supporting the Revolution.
