Copenhagen, Jul 3 (Prensa Latina) The Arbejderen newspaper, representing the Communist Party of Denmark (KP), highlighted on Friday Cuba's solidarity with other nations in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic despite the US aggressions.
In an article published on its website, the daily referred to attacks promoted from Washington as the presentation by Senators Rick Scott, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz of a bill aimed at punishing countries that accept Cuba's medical collaboration.
Despite US actions, Cuba's generosity arouses great sympathy across the world, noted Arbejderen newspaper, underscoring the internationalist work of Cuban doctors, especially that of the Henry Reeve Contigent's members.
The newspaper also stressed the campaign advocated by numerous organizations to award Cuban medical brigades the Nobel Peace Prize, in recognition of their work for years, especially, during the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The daily also recognized Cuba's contribution to actions against Ebola in Africa; because of it, its specialists received the Doctor Lee Jong-Wook Commemorative Prize for Public Health, awarded by the World Health Organization in 2017.
