Cuba's, Ireland's lawmakers hold a virtual meeting
The people of Ireland are completely opposed to the blockade against Cuba and will continue with solidarity actions for its elimination, expressed the Irish representatives cited by the ANPP.
Likewise, they assured that, from their responsibilities, they will continue to demand the cessation of this unfair policy.
The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange assessments on the development of the five Cuban vaccine candidates against Covid-19.
The Cuban delegation was composed of Alberto Nuñez, secretary of the International Relations Commission of the ANPP and Luis Morlote Rivas, president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with the countries of the European Union, as well as the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health, Francisco Duran.
