Cuban Prime Minister Concludes Official Visit to Qatar

Manuel Marrero Cruz, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Prime Minister of the Republic, concluded an official visit to Qatar today, as announced by the Prime Minister on the social media platform X.

Marrero Cruz confirmed the mutual commitment to strengthen the historic ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. "We have concluded our visit to Qatar, confident of having advanced in consolidating the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite us," stated the Cuban head of Government, who emphasized the extensive potential that exists to expand economic and trade links between both countries.

During his stay, Marrero Cruz held meetings with authorities of the Arab nation, in which the legacy of brotherhood built by the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, and the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, was highlighted.

"Thank you for the solidarity," the Prime Minister wrote to conclude his message on X.
