Cuban President urges to create jobs in communities

Havana, Sep 2 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Friday urged to involve population in transformations being conducted in disadvantaged communities and creating new jobs for their inhabitants.
During a tour across La Federal neighborhood, in Guanabacoa municipality in Havana, the Cuban leader highly recommended employeeing over 250 people, and capitalizing on arable areas to produce food for local benefit.
In this regard, President Díaz-Canel ordered to deploy neighborslent and efforts for the community’s prosperity.
The more than 800 inhabitants of La Federal, one of the 15 neighborhoods in transformation, are presently benefiting from dweling legalization, ration book granting, as well as the construction of a warehouse, bakery, playground and a sports area.
Roads and houses have also been refurbished, as well as basic services such as telephone services, national television aired.
Cuba is currently making progress towards the transformation of vulnerable communities, based on government programs to improve the living conditions of the population.
