Cuban H. Upmann Super Magnum Coming To Switzerland Next Week

The H. Upmann Super Magnum will be arriving at Switzerland’s La Casa del Habano retail shops on August 22. Packaged in a box designed to look like a book, the limited-edition set of 20 thick cigars will retail for 5,400 Swiss francs (about $6,167), which works out to about $308 per cigar. 

The cigar is part of the Colección Habanos series, an annual line of book-shaped cabinets that contain limited runs of unique sizes, many of them quite large. Despite this being 2023, this is technically a 2020 Colección Habanos release: the cigars made their first appearance more than three years ago, at the 2020 Habanos Festival. Now, three years late, the cigars are slowly appearing around the world. Only 3,000 boxes of the H. Upmann Super Magnum are being produced.

H. Upmann Super Magnums are one of the largest cigars in the entire Habanos portfolio, measuring 7 1/8 inches long by 56 ring gauge. They are referred to as Radiantes in Cuban cigar factories.

Cohiba Ideales is the 2021 Colección Habanos, and should be the next release, though there’s no word as to when these will come to market.
