Cuban Experts Attend Panama Climate Forum

Cuban experts with the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment (CITMA) participated at the Climate Week, a forum including several specialized events, held in Panama City.

The forum promoted technical considerations and political coordination in each event following up on specific issues relevant to the climate, according to CITMA Communications Department.

The Cuban delegation tightened working links and expanded their contacts with countries and agencies from other parts of the world in order to advance the Cuban climate and development agenda.

Cuba develops a Climate Change State Plan, known as Life Task, working as an umbrella for the setting up of national priorities, mid and long-term actions in tune with the main climate commitments of the nation.
