Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, extended congratulations to the Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) on the occasion of its 44th anniversary of foundation today.
In a post on the social media platform X, the Minister commended the students, faculty, staff, and graduates on the academy’s anniversary, describing it as an institution that shapes “our #RevolutionaryDiplomacy.” He emphasized that “remaining faithful to the legacy of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and Raúl Roa is our primary commitment.”
The premier center for the study of International Relations and Cuba’s Foreign Policy, named “Dr. Raúl Roa García,” was established by the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, on June 11, 1981.
Following the passing of former Cuban Foreign Minister Dr. Raúl Roa in 1982, the institute was named in his honor.
