CubaCoop asks Biden to reverse inhumane measures against Cuba

The Cuba Cooperation France Association (CubaCoop) urged US President-Elect Joe Biden on Thursday to eliminate the inhumane and criminal measures dictated against the island by the administration of Donald Trump.
We wish and will act to put an end to those actions adopted despite the repudiation by the world community and the rejection of an important US population, the association stated in its weekly publication La lettre electronique Hebdo, the organization founded in 1995 to promote solidarity and collaboration with Cuba.
According to CubaCoop, the planet's peoples should unite to stop the attempt to stifle the island's economy to make life even more difficult for Cuban families.
Before leaving office on January 20, Trump continues adding hostile measures to the 120 established since 2019 to attack the island, the association denounced alluding the recent flight ban to two airplanes with humanitarian cargo and family remittances blocking, as of Western Union closed its 407 offices across Cuba.
The association's call joins that of personalities, organizations and citizens globally, who urge Democratic politician Biden to resume the Havana-Washington rapprochement started by Barack Obama in December 2014. Biden was Obama's vice president.
