Cuba Solidarity Party in Germany

Left-wing alliances gathered in the German capital to celebrate solidarity with Cuba on the occasion of the anniversary of the assault on the Moncada barracks, diplomatic sources stated today.
 
At the event, held at the Stadtpark Parkaue, Cuban diplomats welcomed the guests and reported on the current situation in Cuba and the struggle against the U.S. blockade.

During the event, members of the socialist party Die Linke took the floor, such as Gesine Lötzsch, who emphasized the relevance of solidarity with Cuba.

Besides Cuban friendship organizations and leftist political groups, there were also activists in favor of the Palestinian cause.

They also discussed the work of the Cuba Travel Brigades of the socialist youth organizations.

In a round of talks, the positive experiences were highlighted.

There was also traditional Cuban music.
