Cuba reports substantial drop in Covid-19 cases

Cuba registered a substantial drop of Covi-19 new cases on Sunday to 11, for a total of 4.309 in six and half months of pandemic.
Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Francisco Duran reported in his daily morning press briefing that there 616 active patients, of whom 600 are doing well, as the number of critical and seriously ill at ICUs fell to 16.
He further said one of the new cases is imported, but there are 4 minors for a total of 458, of whom 388 have healed.
Dr. Duran added that 20 patients who had recovered have been discharged to total 3,590 and an 83.4% recovery rate. There was one dead for a death toll of 101 and lethality rate of 2.34%.
Of the 11 new positive cases, 8 are women to total 2,153 (49.9%) and 3 men (2,156 - 50.1%).
