Cuba reports 49 new cases of Covid-19, adding up to 564 confirmed cases

The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported that as of April 9th, 1,867 patients are being investigated with 564 confirmed cases.

• Another 9,761 people are being followed up by primary care.

• 49 new cases confirmed yesterday for Covid-19.

• The country has carried out 12,023 studies, of which 564 has been confirmed positives.

• All 49 cases confirmed yesterday are from Cuba.

• Havana, Holguin, and Ciego de Avila (with 12, 10, 8 cases confirmed, respectively) are the provinces with higher number of Covid-19 patients who tested positive.

• Luckily, no Cuban or foreign patient died yesterday, according to the report.
