Cuba reports 48 new cases of Covid-19: 814 cases testing positive

The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported that as of April 14th, 2,466 patients are being investigated with 814 confirmed cases.

• Another 6,572 people are being followed up by primary care.

• 48 new cases confirmed yesterday for Covid-19.

• The country has carried out 20,451 studies, of which 814 has tested positives.

• 47 individuals testing positive are from Cuba while one person is from the United States.

• As of yesterday, Havana, Mayabeque, Sancti Spiritus, and Ciego de Avila (with 33, 4, and 3 cases confirmed, respectively) were the provinces with higher number of Covid-19 patients testing positive.

• Unfortunately, three Cuban patients died according to the report.
