Havana, Apr 28 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) on Thursday reported 204 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours and no deaths from the disease.

Molecular Biology laboratories performed 7,515 PCR tests to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Of 949 active cases in the country, 928 have a stable clinical evolution, and 21 people remain in intensive care units, including seven in a critical condition and 14 reported as seriously ill.

MINSAP noted that 276 patients were discharged, so the total number of recovered people rose to 1,093,262,000 since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020. Cuba has accumulated 1,102,559 Covid-19 cases since then.

No deaths were reported during the day, so the death toll remains at 8,525, according to MINSAP.
