Havana, Aug 7 (Prensa Latina) Cuban health authorities reported today 8,893 new infections with the SARS-Cov-2 virus, which causes Covid-19, and 96 deaths in the past 24 hours due to complications from the disease.
 
Thus, it now totals 448,792 people who have suffered the disease since March 2020 and 3,355 fatalities.
