Cuba reported 676 new COVID-19 cases

Havana, April 6 (RHC)-- The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported today that in the last few hours 676 people were detected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19.
Nine thousand 998 samples were analyzed in the Molecular Biology laboratories to detect the coronavirus.
There are 2,993 active cases in the country.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, 1,94,352 cases were reported.
MINSAP said that during the day, one death was reported and the total number of deaths is 8,517.
