Eight Cuban Rum Brands Authorized to Use the Country Brand

A total of eight Cuban rum brands have been accredited with the authorization to use the Country Brand, an initiative aimed at strengthening national identity and positioning Cuban products in the international market.
According to a publication by the Institute of Information and Social Communication, the Country Brand Council granted this recognition to the Corporation Cuba Ron S.A. for its portfolios of light Cuban rum, which include Eminente, Perla del Norte, Santa Cruz del Norte, Sao Can, Isla del Norte, Isla Grande, Kawama, and 510 Aniversario de Santiago de Cuba.
The source confirms that these brands hold the Guarantee Seal of the Republic of Cuba, the Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.), certified quality systems, and registration with the Cuban Industrial Property Office.
Furthermore, they have been awarded at national and international trade fairs, endorsing their prestige and competitiveness.
The Country Brand serves as a strategic tool to promote the best of Cuban endeavors in sectors such as tourism, culture, the food industry, and exports. In this regard, Cuba Ron S.A. reaffirms its commitment to excellence and rum-making tradition, recognized as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
With this accreditation, the text highlights, 29 types of rums across various categories—carta blanca, carta oro, añejo, extra añejo, and gran reserva—are now included, with aging levels of up to 19 years, some of which are personalized for exclusive clients.
These new products join the portfolio of Santiago de Cuba and Cubay rums, which were the first to receive the Country Brand, thereby consolidating Cuba Ron S.A.'s leadership in promoting national identity.
