Cuba promoted as a unique destination at Argentine Tourism Fair

Cuba's attractions as a unique destination is highlighted here at the 28th International Tourism Fair of Latin America (FIT), which brings together exhibitors from more than 50 countries.
According to tourism advisor Janet Ayala, Cuba’s participation in the event will be full of novelties, among them the presentation of a direct flight to Cayo Largo that will start in January and will have a weekly frequency.
In addition, the Caribbean’s largest island recently launched the Evisa platform, which makes it easier for visitors to obtain the required tourist card.
It allows users to start their procedures online from any device connected to the Internet, offers a more efficient and agile service, saves the user the management of physical documents and is another step towards the modernization of the consular system.
FIT, which is held at La Rural exhibition center, has Brazil as its guest country and expects to receive more than 125,000 visitors.
In statements to the press, the president of FIT and of the Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies, Andrés Deyá, highlighted the importance of the event, which has consolidated as a showcase for new offers, and to show the richness of destinations being promoted and learn about the industry’s novelties and trends.
