Havana, Jul 23 (Prensad Latina) By opening whole sales and facilitating exports and imports for the non-state businesses, plus other encouraging measures, Cuba is empowering the private sector as one more key player in its economic development.
Speaking to the nation through the prime time Round Table TV news analysis program, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, confirmed the Government's interest to facilitate new forms of management in exports and imports, both for the state and non-state sectors.
There will be equal conditions for all players involved in these processes, he reiterated.
He further said there are already 36 companies specialized in foreign trade activities to provide such services to the non-State sector, for which - she said - online training courses will be made available to improve their exportable products.
