Cuba denounces Israel’s aggression against Lebanon

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Tuesday denounced the incursions by Israel's occupation army in southern Lebanon, and called for an end to the impunity of the Zionist government in the region. 

On his X profile, the Cuban head of State stressed that “as the 79th United Nations General Assembly is in session, the risk of barbarism becoming naturalized is increasing in the Middle East.”

After a year of genocide in Gaza, Israel is now attacking Lebanon. Zionism is increasingly resembling Nazism. Enough of impunity, the Cuban president stressed.

On Monday, the Israeli army announced the beginning of “incursions” into Lebanese territory “against terrorist targets and infrastructure” of the Hezbollah, following a decision by the government of Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli Air Force and Artillery are supporting the invasion by ground troops.
