Cuba calls for international action against attack on Venezuela

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel denounced the illegal US attack on Venezuela and demanded an immediate response from the international community against this criminal act.

“Our #ZoneOfPeace is being brutally assaulted. State terrorism against the brave Venezuelan people and against Our America,” the Cuban president emphasized in a post on the social network X.

Early Saturday morning, loud explosions were heard in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.

Shortly afterward, in a statement, the Bolivarian government confirmed the attacks perpetrated by the United States against the territory of the South American nation and called on its population to mobilize against the imperialist aggression.

The incident is generating widespread condemnation of the criminal action by the United States.
