Cuba: ANPP working commissions opened sessions on economy

Havana, Dec 11 (Prensa Latina) The working commissions of Cuba´s National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) on Saturday opens debates focusing on economic issues and the country's legislative development.
The Economic Affairs Commission meeting was attended by the Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, where participants discussed about estimated 2022 closing plan and proposal for 2023, as well as implementation of 75 measures to face up the country’s present situation.
Cuban attendees also learned about current status and prospects of insurance for the national health system, an issue included in the agenda of the Health and Sports Commission.
Housing construction, agricultural product collecting, education system situation and measures to crack down on crime are included in the agenda of the other nine working commissions in session.
ANPP´s permanent working commissions are formed for assisting the Cuban Parliament, carrying out studies that constitute control mechanisms for the people’s power.
