Cuba and Serbia maintain direct cooperation between institutions of Higher Education, the Minister of Education of this country, Slavica Đukić Dejanović, said when meeting today with the ambassador of the Caribbean island, Leyde Rodriguez.

Đukić pointed out that the collaboration takes place, in addition, within the framework of the Project “The World in Serbia”, in which the Republic of Serbia, for the 2023/2024 school year, offered Cuba scholarships within this project.

The Cuban diplomat also referred to the participation of professors from the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade in the University Congress 2024, to be held in Havana from February 5 to 9.

Rodriguez also highlighted the visit of a large academic delegation for the development of seminars and debates with professors of the Faculty of Law of the University of Havana and the Higher Institute of International Relations “Raúl Roa García”.

In addition, a specific agreement was signed for cooperation between the Law Schools of both universities, as well as tours to tourist, cultural and historical sites in Viñales, Santa Clara and Trinidad, the diplomat emphasized.
