Havana, April 20 (ACN) Cuba and Mexico signed cooperation accords in the areas of culture, preservation and access to digital patrimony, and historic bibliography according to foreign ministry.

The initiative aims at expanding and strengthening bilateral relations in the field of preservation and protection of bibliographic patrimony of both nations and stress historic links of friendship and cooperation.

The accords were penned by Mexico’s ambassador to Havana Miguel Ignacio Diaz, having as honor witness of the action general director for Historic and Diplomatic Heritage Laura Beatriz Moreno and by Cuban officials Saylin Sanchez, director of Documentary Management, and the rector of the Higher Institute of Foreign Relations Rogelio Sierra Diaz.
