Camagüey's women's careers recognized

As part of the activities for the 64th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in the province, the careers of several women were recognized in the Nicolás Guillén protocol room of the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz.

During the celebration, 13 women were awarded the 23 de Agosto Distinction, including retirees, artisans, doctors, leaders, and teachers.

In addition, 21 health workers, and 4 representatives of the Comptroller's Office and the Electoral Council, signed the Book of Honor of Camagüey's Women, in recognition of their outstanding careers in their different professional profiles.

At the meeting, 8 FMC cadres from the municipalities of Camagüey, Florida, Jimaguayú, Nuevitas, and Vertientes were congratulated for their dedication to professional work for five, 10, and 20 years.

Roberto Conde Silverio, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province, on behalf of the representatives of the political and mass organizations present, recognized the work of Cuban women in the development of the Cuban Revolution as well as their empowerment within society.
