La Paz, Mar 16 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian President Luis Arce on Tuesday warned the population about the right-wing opposition's intention to misinform them about the economy with unfounded lies.
On his Twitter account, the president assured that the government has planned a public investment of 4.11 billion bolivianos (nearly 580 million dollars), and the reformulation of the State's general budget will increase this investment and boost the economy.
Arce also underscored that by no means will the resources allocated to local governments and municipalities be reduced.
The president confirmed that he met with members of Parliament to analyze measures to fight Covid-19 and also the public policies to reactivate the economy, all this in compliance with people's demands.
Since the campaign prior to the October 18, 2020 election, Arce has said that he would work tirelessly to rebuild the economy, fight the pandemic and recover democracy.
After taking office in November, he especially endorsed a strategy to move forward financially, with a return to a fairer and more inclusive community social order as one of its priorities.
