Barbados urges for the end of U.S. blockade against Cuba

Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Mottley described on Friday as a blunder to keep up the U.S. blockade against Cuba by the time she spoke to the United Nations General Assembly’s (UNGA) plenary session.
Mottley highlighted Cuban assistance to so many people in the world, and questioned the criminal tightened U.S. blockade against that country for over 60 years, adding that Cuba has been included in the U.S. list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
“What is requested to the Cuban people every day due to such list made up by Biden’s administration is wrong,” the PM noted.
In her opinion, the artificial division of who is right and wrong, who is good and bad in the eyes of the powerful can no longer be the way this world works.
Mottley was one of the speakers on the fourth day of the 78th session of the General Assembly, in which the voice of developing countries has demanded a change of model in relations and finances to meet the Goals of Sustainable Development.
