Assistant Foreign Minister Miao Deyu Meets with Acting Director General of the General Division of Political Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Luis Achkienasi Chernak

On September 14, 2024, Assistant Foreign Minister Miao Deyu met in Beijing with Acting Director General of the General Division of Political Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Luis Achkienasi Chernak, who was in China for consultations.

The two sides had an exchange of views focusing on international and regional situations, their respective foreign policies, and global governance, among others.

Prior to this meeting, Deputy Director-General of the Policy Planning Department Liu Wei held the fifth round of consultations on China-Cuba foreign policies with Acting Director General Luis Achkienasi Chernak.
