Both presidents will hold a private meeting at the National Palace in order to discuss various issues, among which are the collaboration to produce, package and distribute Covid-19 vaccines, and the creation of the Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency.
Last December marked the 132th anniversary of relations between Mexico and Argentina, with a Strategic Association Agreement signed in 2007, as well as the Economic Complementation agreements 6 and 55. According to the work plan published by the Foreign Secretariat, Fernandez's first activity will be a meeting at the Intercontinental Hotel in the morning with Mexican investors in Argentina.
Afterwards, he will visit the Liomon Laboratory, where the AstraZeneca vaccine will be manufactured jointly, and after touring the place, he will meet with intellectuals at Argentina's Embassy.
Fernandez's visit to the National Palace is scheduled for Tuesday, when he will meet with Lopez Obrador and will participate with him in the daily morning press conference in the Treasury Room.
After the press conference, he will have breakfast with Obrador, and minutes later both will attend the Anniversary ceremony of President Francisco I. Madero.
