“Fidel is Cuba” Concerts to Continue

That initiative, carried out the 13th of every month, gathers this occasion the young students from the Mariana de Gonitch Singing Academy, directed by maestro Hugo Oslé, as a tribute to the Cuban Revolution leader in his birthday.

During the concert, 90 white pigeons will fly while listening to emblematic songs of the Cuban patriotic repertoire like the Rosa Blanca, Clave Martiana, La Bayamesa, El Mambí, the Canto Rebelde, La Victoria, and Plegaria a un Labrador, together to the special performance of actress Corina Mestre.

A version of the song Somos el mundo (“We are the world”) will be premiered on this occasion sang by 46 Cuban renowned voices that join to the Fidel es Cuba concerts initiative.
