The performance took place exactly 70 years ago, at Auditorium Theater—Amadeo Roldan Theater today—with the Sociedad Pro Arte Musical de La Habana Ballet. The orchestra was directed by maestro José Ardévol.
Alicia was accompanied that memorable night by Fernando Alonso as Albrecht, the first U.S. dancer Rosella Hightower as the Queen of the Willis, and Simón Semenoff, a famous dancer from that time, as Hilarion.
