Music Festival in Cuba Gathers Artists from Eight Countries

Musicians from eight countries will play at the World Music Festival in Havana, Cuba, scheduled for February 6 and 7, confirmed organizers. The second edition of the festival will be attended by Franco-Antillean composer, singer and DJ David Walters, Moroccan singer Aziz Sahmaoui and French DJ Philippe Cohen, member of the famous electronic tango band Gotan Project.
The group Mexican Institute of Sound, representative of the best local miscegenation, and the Spanish group Muchachito bombo infierno, who announced a review through its three albums, which mixed flamenco, funk and rock also confirmed their attendance.
The concerts will take place on the stage of the Metropolitan Park in Havana, Cuba with the presence of musicians of great caliber as the jazz musician Roberto Fonseca, singer Isaac Delgado, troubadour Tony Avila and bassists Yusa and Alain Pérez.
According to local media, the African Sahmaoui will come to this Caribbean country with his band University of Gnawa, consisting of Moroccan and Senegalese musicians who came together to give shine to a range of traditional North African rhythms fused with jazz and rock.
