The exhibition "Relato de una negociacion," by Mexican-based Belgian artist Francis Alÿs, will be open on Friday, Apr. 8, at the National Fine Arts Museum in Havana, Cuba, media reports today.
Cuauhtemoc Medina, curator of the exhibition, said the display has been previously exhibited at the Tamayo Contemporary Art Museum in Mexico City and the Latin American Art Museum in Buenos Aires (Malba).
About 120,496 visitors visited the Tamayo Museum in 2015. They appreciated the work of who was considered one of the most renowned contemporary artists worldwide.
"Bridge/Puente," a work included in the exhibition, is a project where the author conceived a bridge of boats between Key West, Florida and Havana, the Cuban capital, Medina said.
"Relato de una negociacion" will conclude in Havana on Sept. 12. The exhibition will later travel to Canada, to be displayed at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
