Cuban Chamber of Commerce Spans its International Presence

The Cuban Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will be present this year in a dozen international events, among which the Annual Investment Congress and the Trade Fair of the United Arab Emirates this month, informed today the entity.
The multisector event will be held from April 11 thru 13 at the International Convention Center of Dubai, with the participation of 500 exhibitors of 40 nations which will exhibit products, services and projects of 15 sectors, among which
stand out agriculture, energy and mines, food and pharmaceutical industry, health, investment, trade and tourism.
According to the program of activities of the CCC, the next in schedule also include the Vietnam Expo 2016, from April 13 thru 16, which will take place in the fair grounds of Hanoi International Exhibition Center.
In this kind of expo attend over 600 exhibitors of some 30 countries, in an area 165 thousand square meters, where products and services of the machinery and construction equipment sectors will be displayed, handicrafts, telecoms and others.
Cuban enterprises will also be participating jointly with the CCC at the International Fair of Algiers, in Algeria and in Cochabamba, Bolivia, both in the second half of May and previously, on May 10 thru 13, in Expo Seoul Food in South Korea.
For this year the CCC is also expected to participate in the following events: EXPOtronica, 8th Exhibition of the Electronic and Information Technologies Industry in Cordoba, Argentina (in June) International Fair of El Salvador
(November), and Health Fair in Russia (December). Also, the institution plans on sending two direct trade missions, one to Dominican Republic from May 23 thru 27, and another to the macro business round organized by the Latin American Integration Association (Aladi, acronym in Spanish), Expoaladi 2016.
The latter will take place in October in the state of Coahuila, Mexico with the objective of strengthening trade links between the countries of that integrationist entity.
The Chamber has over 700 associated enterprises. In 2015 and the first quarter of this year, the increase of visits of entrepreneurs interested in doing business with Cuba, has continued, highlighted its president Orlando Hernandez Guillen.
