Slovak State Secretary of Finance To Visit Cuba

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Lesay, and a delegation of officials from his ministry, will pay a visit to Cuba on Jan.24-30, announced the Cuban Foreign Ministry. This visit is a follow-up to that paid by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico on Oct. 7-9 last year, aimed at implementing cooperation in the financial area a part of the agreement signed in 2014 by the ministries of Finance of the two countries.

According to an official release, this Slovak delegation will have a busy working agenda, including meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment and the Ministry of Finance.

The delegation includes six financial experts, as well as the Director General of the Bank to Promote Slovak Exports (EXIMBANK), the President of the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic, Frantisek Imrecze, and the President of the State Reserve, Kajetan Kicura.
