Cuban Five to Visit Ecuador Next Week

The Cuban Five -- Gerardo Hernandez, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez -- will visit Ecuador next week, according to Cuba's Embassy in Quito.

According to reports from the Ecuadorean capital, the Five will fly to Quito on Friday, September 25th, at the invitation of President Rafael Correa. They will discuss topics of interest and attend political activities during their stay in Ecuador.

The five anti-terrorist fighters will also attend the Second Latin American Progressive Meeting, to be held from September 28th through the 30th, which will be attended by representatives from more than 80 political organizations.
