Cuba to host International Forum on Digital Television

The 3^rd International Forum on Digital Television, to be held in Havana next month, September 14-16, will discuss the present situation and future perspective of Digital Terrestrial Television.

Sponsored by the Telecommunication Central Laboratories in Cuba (LACETEL) and the National Laboratory of Digital TV (Beijing), specialists, researchers, and executives from the telecom sector from several countries will present and analyze all the works related to communications and the implementation of applied researches.

The systems of antenna and cable reception, interactivity, software solutions and technical specifications of the TV receivers, their sensitivity and electromagnetic compatibility are, among other things, the subjects to discuss.
