First Cuban International Symposium on Commerce and Services

With the opening today of the International Symposium on Development of Commerce and Services, the exchange is restored on the experiences and projections of the sustainable development of trade in the new context of the Cuban economy. In its first edition, the event will be developed from this Tuesday until Friday 22nd under the motto 'The Development of Domestic Trade before the New Economic Model', with a varied program and present issues.

The appointment is organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and the patronage of the Management and Development of the Quality Center of the Standardization National Office, the National Association of Economists and Book-keepers of Cuba, the Cuban Association of Logistics and Marketing, the Federation of Culinary Associations and Bartenders of Cuba.

Magisterial conferences of prestigious national and international personalities, workshops, panels and poster sessions compound the program.

Among the subjects of the general agenda there is wholesale trade and foreign investment, non agricultural cooperatives as model of the services and alternative for the development of the country.
