Despite the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for more than 60 years, our people is ready to help other countries, stated the Cuban ambassador in La Paz, Carlos Zamora.

During last night's premiere of the documentary 'Renacer' made by Prensa Latina Television and the Ministry of the Presidency, which highlights the legacy of Fidel Castro Ruz through the work of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Bolivia, Zamora highlighted the humanitarian, dignified and prestigious work of the doctors in the South American country.

The activity was an opportunity to greet the 66th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks in the Cuban provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Granma, respectively, on July 26 and considered a crucial event for the triumph of the Revolution on January 1, 1959.

He specified that there is no better way to honor Fidel than the showing of that audiovisual that shows 'part of his dreams and reasons why he assaulted the Moncada, fought in the Sierra Maestra and dedicated his entire life to seek justice, independence and sovereignty of our people.
