Cuban leader stresses youth role in the country’s current dynamics

The first secretary of the Cuban Young Communist League, Susely Morfa described as crucial the role of young generations in the economic, social changes taking place in the country.

Morfa said in the central province of Sancti Spiritus that the country needs conscious and direct participation of the young people in national affairs, she said after stressing that the Cuban youth has much energy and desire to contribute to the current reality of Cuba.

“Our young people are present in all social sectors, and the Revolution needs to keep fostering this unity, this energy and strength to further boost our economic effort.”

During a tour of local economic entities, the youth leader learned about the work of young workers in areas like education, the food industry and services. (ACN)
