Raul Castro met Mexican Chancellor

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Council of State and Ministers, received José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States.

During the fraternal meeting, both leaders exchanged views on the status of bilateral relations as well as other subjects of regional interest like the upcoming 24^th Ibero-American Summit to be held in Veracruz, Mexico.

The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Mrs. Vanessa Rubio Márquez, Deputy Secretary for Latin America and the Caribbean, and Mr. Juan José Bremer, ambassador of the United Mexican State. On the Cuban side, it was present Rogelio Sierra Díaz, Interim Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Previously, Meade Kuribreña was welcomed by Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiza, Vicepresident of the Council of Ministers.
