Cuban FM to visit VN

Cuban FM Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla will pay an official visit to Viet Nam from September 9-12.

His fourth visit to Viet Nam is expected to enhance the traditional and comprehensive relations between Viet Nam and Cuba.

In recent years, the two sides exchanged high-ranking visits, including the ones by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and PM Nguyen Tan Dung to Cuba in April 2012 and March 2014, respectively, and the one by Presidentof the Cuban Council of State Raul Castro Ruz to Viet Nam in June 2013.

Economically, two-way trade between the two countries reached over US$200 million a year.

The two sides signed the mid-term economic agenda between the two Governments and are preparing for the 32^ndmeeting of Viet Nam-Cuba Inter-governmental Committee in October 2014 in Havana.
