Women Denounce Trump's Terror Policy on Cuban People
especiales
In a statement released by Granma newspaper, the FMC accuses Trump of violating the human rights of the Cuban inhabitants after intensifying the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed for more than 50 years.
'A pregnant African American woman was shot by police in Seattle a few days ago, increasing the number of black people who die at the hands of police forces in that country. What moral does the American president attend to speak to Cuba about human rights? ', the text emphasizes.
Cuba, said the communiqué, is one of the countries in the world that provides greater physical and moral protection to its people, where the dignity of citizens is at the center of social policies.
'We have to see the development achieved by Cuban women; the budgets that our country has devoted to health, education and social security programs, among others, to understand the profoundly humanistic dimension of our Revolution,' the FMC's note states.
Cuban women tell Trump that we accept no fences, no interference, no threats from anyone, because this people never gave in to blackmail, the statement said.
