The Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the High School for State and Government Personnel Training of Cuba will conduct joint research under a recently signed cooperation agreement, BelTA learned from the press center of the Belarusian university.

The parties plan to exchange cutting-edge experience and the best practices in continuous professional training and also establish cooperation in science, education and innovations.

“The Academy of Public Administration and the High School for State and Government Personnel Training of Cuba agreed on priority cooperation areas. These include organization of academic exchanges, joint participation in international academic programs and projects, conduct joint research, and maintain a regular exchange of information,” the press service said.

The Belarusian university was invited to sign the cooperation agreement during the official visit of Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, First Vice President of the Council of State of Cuba, to Belarus in May 2016. “With the direct assistance from the Cuban Embassy in Belarus, the Academy of Public Administration and the High School for State and Government Personnel Training of Cuba established collaboration and reached an agreement on key areas and terms of cooperation,” the press center said.
