Cimex announces measures to address low fuel availability

The Cimex S.A. Corporation announced on its Facebook page the adoption of measures to address the low fuel availability in the country, in accordance with the information provided by government authorities this Friday on the television program Mesa Redonda.
The company stated that the sale of fuel in Cuban pesos (CUP) and the sale of diesel in US dollars to the public have been suspended until conditions allow.
Starting today, February 7th, the Ticket platform will be implemented at service stations selling B90 and B94 gasoline in US dollars, with the aim of organizing the process and serving the largest number of customers.
The purchase limit will be up to 20 liters per registration on the platform, and each customer will have 24 hours to use their allotted fuel once notified.
Cimex specified that, as availability conditions allow, the free sale of fuel will be gradually restored.
The corporation urges the public to stay informed through the following official communication channels, where it will continue to provide updates on the implementation of these measures.
