At Least 24 Iraqis Killed, 26 Wounded in Double Suicide Attack in Baghdad

The official explained that a motorcycle bomb exploded in Mredy market in Sadr; the bastion of support for Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr.

Consecutively, a suicide bomber blew himself up in the same market.

The official noted that the two explosions caused damage to some shops, cars and adjacent buildings, and added that the security forces cordoned off the market and transferred the wounded to nearby hospitals.
