Backups are coming!

Few hours left for six managers who, along with their advisors, will decide and pick up players to strengthen their teams´ rosters.

It will occur at night with managers dressed up in suits and tie. As it has happened in the last few years, this moment is paramount in the future course of the season.

That is why every team must weigh very well their needs, and wisely match up some combinations of possible eligible players according to the pickups of other managers.

It is not secret that most of backups will be hurlers. Let’s name just a few: experienced Norberto Gonzalez, Frank Montieth, Yoelkis Cruz, Danny Betancourt, Noelvis Entenza, Ubisney Bermudez, Yosvany Torres, Jose Angel Garcia, Vladimir Baños, Wilber Pérez, and Dany Aguilera; along with others with outstanding results in recent seasons like Miguel Lahera, Alexis Riera, Yudiel Rodríguez, Liván Moinelo, Isbel Hernández, or Erlis Casanova.

Catchers and infielders will be also filling the bag. Catchers Eriel Sanchez, Frank Camilo Morejon, Jordanys Acebal, and Rafael Vinales and infielders Rudy Reyes, Juan Carlos Torriente, Yolbert Sanchez, Yariel Duque, Donal Duarte, Alexander Malleta, Dainier Galvez or William Saavedra will be interesting options.

Finally, Yusniel Ibanez, Stayler Hernandez, Juan Miguel Soriano, Denis Laza, Leonardo Urgelles, Edilse Silva, and Julio Pablo Martinez are some of the eligible outfielders.

A piece of advice to those in need of catchers: no need to rush, first calls for pitchers. There is real quality in the bag this time. Unfortunately, some players with perspective will see reduced their playing time.
